Jobst Anti-Embolism stockings are specially designed to reduce the risk of Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT), commonly referred to as blood clots.
Like all compression hosiery, Anti-Embolism stockings apply gradient compression, highest at the ankle and gradually decreasing up the leg.
This improves blood flow, greatly reducing the risk of clotting.
Anti-Embolism stockings are designed for people who are bedridden or otherwise immobile for prolonged periods of time.
