Antique Steiff Mohair Pony Horse Foal 10.5” Occupied US Zone Germany Tag ear tag missing, but tag holes still visible in ear
The horse is approximately 10.5 in tall, made from Mohair stuffed with straw, the main and tail appear to be real horse hair, it's hooves are felt. It has a Western style saddle with rifle and lasso, this can be removed, there is half a label left on its leg which can be just about read - it is half deteriorated, but would have originally said 'Made in US Zone Germany'
Condition- Bridle is broken, main is patchy in places, no ear tag, hooves have small holes, one hoof is deteriorating and you can see the straw stuffing inside, Mohair is patchy in places, possibly other imperfections that I can't see, but would be noticable to a avid collector
